Where are you based?
We are based at Netherthorpe Airfield only 15 minutes from junction 30, M1 and 20 minutes from the A1.
The Aerodrome is a great place to visit for an enjoyable day trip or just to pop in for a cup of tea or coffee.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions (it may be windy at the airfield). We also advise people to wear sensible footwear and full length trousers. Flip flops and shorts, unfortunately, will not be allowed for safety reasons.
What time should I arrive?
We tell all our customers to arrive at least 15 minutes before their allocated time slot. This is to allow us time to sign you in and give you a pilot safety brief before your flight experience.
Can I take pictures during my flight?
Outside the critical stages of flight feel free to take as many pictures as you like.
Is the experience weather dependent?
There are several weather factors that can restrict the ability for your flight to go ahead, to ensure that safety is the key priority. We advise you to contact the team at Three Counties Flying School to confirm the weather is suitable before setting off.
